Saving Instead of Shopping.

My in-laws sent us batches of garden fresh produce. I've been less than stellar about using up our own produce and food.

Potatoes are getting stinky in the bin. Strawberries are turning mushy in the fridge.
Boiling potatoes to be made into salad, soup, and mashed.
Today instead of grocery shopping I'll be grocery saving by cutting, chopping, and freezing what we can't eat immediately. And one of those yucky potatoes is getting buried in my veggie patch for research purposes. How easily can we grow our own potatoes?
