Total= 28.32
Total for all of this was: 39.49
Left in budget: 20.51
I still have to stop by Aldi or Save-A-Lot for staples and do some cherry picking at Shop N Save.
That's not including the special trip to Costco in a few days for pet food and litter. Sometimes shopping within the confines of this new budget can get really depressing. I so much wanted to fill the cart with special flours so I can expand my bread making repertoire. But, at $4 and up per bag I just couldn't do it this week. At least we're all set for canned corn for a while.

hmmm - about the root beer flavoring, are you going to make root beer or?
and really glad your hubby is OK.
Rhonda,
Yes, I'm planning on making root beer sometime for a pizza family night. We have a few bottles of fizzy water in the cabinet to use up and this seemed like a good idea. I've never had homemade root beer before.
Hope we like it.
