A Return to Coupons
Lately I have not felt like clipping, sorting, organizing or using coupons. Call it laziness or whatever but since I don't normally buy name brand products anyway it just hasn't seemed worth it to me.
That was until this weeks coupon bonanza in the paper anyway.
Wal-Mart has the electrasol gel packs and tabs on sale for 2.66 a box for 20 in my area. I used the 2.25 coupon and spent .41 cents for a box of 20 tabs. That takes the cost from .13 cents a load to .02 cents a load.
I also used the $1.00 Johnson & Johnson coupon and got a free bar of soap for my kids. I may have to rethink my previous ideas about couponing.

I always see that people get those great Electrasol coupons in their Sunday paper--ours are always for .35 or less here in Central CA. With minor cents-off coupons and no stores that double them in our area, I would probably just barely justify the cost of the paper. I do score great coupons from Huggies and P&G through their mailing lists though.
Sahmmy, every time I run low on Huggies Overnights I call the 1-800 number on the pack and beg the phone rep. to please send me more coupons as I'm almost out. I get really good ones (like 3.00 off) by doing that. Better than the mailing list coupons but those are good too.
