A small journey towards a more frugal and clutter free existence-- while dragging my husband and children along with me.

Pilgrims and Indians and Soldering Irons and Babysitters.
Hubby received his big Christmas present in the mail yesterday. It's a HAKO soldering iron he's been wanting for months. While I cleaned up the post dinner mess, the kids helped him unwrap it and then they spent twenty minutes coloring the box and karate chopping the packing paper with their heads and arms. Cheap Entertainment that only a Daddy would think of. Best thing- the paper is recyclable.
Today was our Thanksgiving Feast at preschool. Luckily, both kids were well enough to attend their different 'schools' so we could participate.
On a spendy note.. Hubby and I set up our son's old babysitter for a night of babysitting for both of our kids tomorrow night. We haven't been on a date in so long I don't know what to do. This is a big splurge for us and I am -so- looking forward to it.
