Hubby and I love Indian food. I'm really craving it today and first thought I'd talk him into a trip to our favorite Indian restaurant for dinner.
Nah- I've got Naan mix and basmati in the pantry, a fridge full of food, and a pantry full of spices.
This green bean recipe looks promising. I have tofu and an abundance of tomatoes for this paneer hack. And for dessert- Rice Pudding.
And no need to go grocery shopping either.

I always get a paneer masala (which seems to be the same sauce used in many places' chicken tikka masala) at our local Indian places. We watched a cooking show on PBS the other day that had worked out what looked to be a good version (and simpler too). I am looking forward to trying it w/o the chicken, just sub in tofu or whatever. We've got about 20 tomatoes on the counter right now and more coming ripe daily, so I bet it will be soon!
Supposedly it's free registration to get this recipe.

Some of the spice descriptions throw me in traditional Indian recipes!
